The 2026 Guinness Men’s Six Nations comes with a fresh feel: it starts midweek for the first time and runs in a tighter window than usual. The tournament kicks off on Thursday, 5 February 2026, and finishes on Saturday, 14 March 2026 with a big Super Saturday finale

What’s new in 2026?

  • First-ever Thursday night opener: France vs Ireland lights up Paris on Feb 5.
  • A shorter championship window: there’s only one fallow/rest weekend (instead of the usual two).
  • A Friday night match: Ireland vs Wales lands on Friday, 6 March under the lights in Dublin.
